Mt. Rushmore is Burning! (9 min, 14 MB, Realplayer) And now, a new film conceived and directed by the great Jonason Ho! That is, of course, a good thing. As is this film. Filmed during Camp Rewind 2003, this is a tale of friendship, revenge, betrayal, kung fu, supernatural forces and cold war paranoia.
It is sure to be an epic battle between the good and the evil (but which is which?) as a crew of gangsters down on their luck attempt to retrieve Lincoln's Gold from underneath the catacombs of Mt. Rushmore ... pursued the whole way by a master of Karate Pate dressed as a spaceman, by a masked grillface killer, and by the God Zeus himself! Starring: Jon Armstrong, Bobby Brown, Jonny Margheim, Jesse Maddox, Jason Santo and the voice of Jonason Ho. What more excuse do you need to download this? Mt. Rushmore is Burning! Radio Man is a Poet! (Quicktime Video)
Our own Radio Man is at it again. On tuesday, March 23rd, 2004, he appeared for the sixth and final time at USC's Ground Zero, as part of the "Best of SC Talent Showcase." Sandwiches and bug juice were served, and a whole bunch of USC students performed music, poetry and dancing. But the students didn't quite know what to make of Radio Man, who stumbled onstage to bare his soul as a poet, performing deep, thoughtful poems about loneliness and the 1980s cartoon series "He-Man And the Masters of the Universe." Previously, Radio Man had taken off his pants onstage, become a self-help guru speaking on the subject of Sonic the Hedgehog, and had an unsuccessful run for Governor of California. Read a first-person account of the performance here, written by our own Garrett Gilchrist. All in all, Garrett performed stand-up comedy seven times at Groundzero - six short performances as Radio Man, during which he was thrown off the stage at least twice, once being thrown physically by a very large man ... there was also a performance Garrett did not as Radio Man but as himself, entitled "I Want to Have Sex With Your Cat." It lasted a full seventy minutes and received approximately 15 walkouts and one laugh during its entire duration. Most of these performances are (or will be) available on audio CD from Orange Cow. Anyway, sit back, relax, and by the power of Greyskull enjoy Radio Man is a Poet! (Quicktime Video)About the Performance
