Confusion Over Movie Title Leaves Local Filmmaker Irritated - March 17, 2004 - cm
Juneau, AK - On Monday, Frank Marshall of "Toyoyoyota Entertainment" got a message on his answering machine regarding a potential distribution deal for his movie "Midnight Skateboarder." Frank was overjoyed to hear that someone has finally recognized his hard work. However, he wasn’t happy for long.
Frank returned the call and realized that a pornography distribution company, "Gay Gay Gay R US Entertainment," has mistaken his epic underground skateboarding documentary to be a gay porn.
"Well, you gotta admit the title does sound pretty gay," said Robbie Marshall, Frank’s brother and co-producer. "I told him to fucking change it but he wouldn’t listen."
"Why the fuck should I change the title? I tried so hard to make a skateboarding movie that’s actually cool, and this is the thanks I get? Buncha fucking assholes. No I don’t mean fucking assholes as a homosexual sex act, I mean rude retards." Frank sighs, "People need to stop judging movies by their titles. People need to watch a movie before assuming that it must be a gay porn just because the title sounds gay."
Frank offered this final thought: "I mean come on, "Passion of the Christ" totally sounds like porno, yet it isn’t a porno. When will people ever learn? Jesus fucking Christ."
